Our Story

It is common for every brand to have a story – but in our case the brand came out very unintentionally out of our life story.

How it all started?

I am just another mother who fret seeing my daughter who happened to be diagnosed with an alopecia areata due to which the child developed two bald spots. I met a wonderful doctor who explained how auto immune disorders affects our system. He also gave so much hope saying sometimes auto-immune diseases can just go away at times. He gave us a set of supplements and asked us to wait because the child was too young to start any treatments.

We as a family are conditioned to believe in miracles. So with some prayers and hope we decided to wait without putting her on medicines. Meanwhile I made a hair oil just to cheer her up. It was just coconut oil infused with curry leaves and a handful of ingredients. 

In a few months, the magic happened and our little one had hair regrowth. I still give first credits to our prayers and then the oil. And all that I knew was, the oil did good to all of us as we were using it as a family. And then since the child was doing well, we forgot this rough patch in our lives.

And then when COVID happened

And we ended up staying back home in an unprecedented way, everything including hair care took a back seat. So slowly when I started thinking of hair care and checked many brands to buy oil for myself. I checked over 10 brands on Instagram and the web. I liked everything about them but found the prices were not sustainable for me to buy every month. And that’s when my daughter said she wanted to make the same oil again to break her lockdown boredom. I was skeptical considering the work involved, because I have done it already and I know it takes days to make it.

My daughter's persistence

But she kept pushing me more and we recollected all the ingredients, studied up about a few more – collected some, foraged some and purchased some and reluctantly made 500ml of it. And once made, of course both of us were using it. The turning point happened when one day my husband used the oil – that night at the dinner table he told me that I should make this hair oil available for sale. His words did not even enter my head that time.

However, he teamed up with my daughter – made labels, got bottles and pushed me to make a sample for 30 people in our first circle. I went ahead and made a tiny three litre batch. I was so reluctant about the entire phase because I was focusing on other things in that phase. But the dad-daughter duo went on doing their work. 

It took me a lot of positive responses from my friends and family to get me to give a serious look at this venture. But then the very moment I took up – I was all in. I am very committed to quality, results, feedbacks and mainly customer experience and satisfaction.

This story is just about how we got started. But trust me, for us every product, every milestone, every day has turned into a beautiful story ever since we started this venture. This business has turned our lives into nothing but a fairy tale!

Our milestones have revolved purely under Instagram solely so far as we haven’t explored other mediums. However, the journey and the milestones have been scintillating so far because it has been a joy ride for us every single day. The journey has been nothing but upwards and onwards totally!

One thing we would like to emphasize is that – Social Media usage can make or break our lives. For us, it has made our lives and also given us a living. We are living in the best era for an entrepreneur ever because the only thing you need to make or have is an amazing product or service line, and then you will see the universe conspire to make the right connections and make your business grow exponentially.

People Behind The Brand

People are always good! In these changing times, people still stand to be good! Human beings are created to be good and kind and especially uplift others.  Our brand here is thriving today because a handful of good hearted people who were strangers chose to spread the word about how good our oil was.
